Job Summary:

As Web Developer you are responsible for translating creative design and strategic vision into a stable, efficient and well-executed web, social or mobile experience. Additionally, you are responsible for collaboration with the creative team to identify and solve implementation challenges posed by designs in development, developing UI templates, executing web, mobile or responsive pages and application interfaces, and collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end functionality.
Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the creative team to advise on technical capabilities, opportunities and limitations of the intended solution

Develop and execute engaging and interactive user interface templates that are scalable, efficient and responsive across a variety of desktop, tablet and mobile environments

Skillfully write semantic and well formed HTML
-
Produce modular, cascading and reusable CSS
-
Apply skillful implementation of JavaScript frameworks
-
Create and develop applications in PHP/MySQL using ExpressionEngine, Drupal, Joomla, and CodeIgniter/Bonfire
-
Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions according to the functional requirements
-
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve errors
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON
-
2+ years of experience with JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery
-
2+ years of PHP & LAMP Development experience
-
Strong proficiency in writing standards-based HTML/CSS including HTML5/CSS3
-
Solid understanding of JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Scriptaculous
-
Proven ability in constructing advanced or complex user interfaces with JavaScript
-
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and degradation strategies
-
Able to take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies
-
Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques
-
Experience developing interfaces for mobile websites and applications (iOS, Android) user interfaces

Proficient in PHP and object-oriented patterns

Experience using frameworks such as CodeIgnitor, Bonfire, Expression Engine

Highly skilled with Photoshop

Good communication, writing, and teamwork abilities
