Job Summary:

As Lead PHP Developer you are responsible for the technical design, analysis, programming, and documentation for the development, integration, enhancement, and maintenance of internal and external solutions. As Lead PHP Developer you plan, architect and create solutions, using PHP/MySQL for web, mobile, and social delivery. Additionally, you maintain, test and debug as well as identify, track and resolve defects. Additionally, you assist the account team in the identification of client needs, estimation, proposal generation, and presentation of proposed solutions.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical ownership and oversight across all areas of application development from requirements gathering through delivery

Own the definition of technical requirements

Own the successful selection of technologies which meet business rules/objectives

Oversee and perform development in PHP/MySQL using ExpressionEngine, Drupal, Joomla, and CodeIgniter/Bonfire
-
Oversee and build multi-tiered web apps with PHP5 and MySQL
-
Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to the functional requirements
-
Oversee and perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of errors
-
Support the account team in all facets of business development
-
Assist with the accurate estimation and execution of technical tasks for all team members
Qualifications:
-
6+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON
-
6+ years of experience with JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery
-
6+ years of PHP & LAMP Development experience
-
Demonstrated experience with regard to estimates, planning, and delivery of complex projects
-
Proven ability to understand a customer’s needs and select technologies which support business rules/objectives
-
Experience developing technical requirements

Proven ownership of procedures and practices in all phases of the development life cycle
-
Strong proficiency in writing standards-based HTML/CSS including HTML5/CSS3
-
Expert-level understanding of JavaScript libraries such as JQuery
-
Experience using frameworks such as CodeIgnitor, Bonfire, Expression Engine
-
Demonstrated knowledge of Content Management Systems such as Drupal
-
Proven ability to architect and perform complex database operations MySQL
-
Proven ability to administer enterprise PHP applications on Linux, Apache, MySQL environments (LAMP)

Firm knowledge of test driven development and automated testing frameworks for unit, integration and performance testing
